BOSCH 1617EVS Fixed-Base Router with Variable Speed Motor

Introducing the Bosch 1617EVS Wood Router Tool Kit, featuring a 12 amp 2 1/4 Horsepower fixed base hand router with 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch collets. This tool kit comes in a hard plastic case for convenient storage and transportation. The router is double insulated for added safety.

The fixed base of the router features threaded holes for mounting to a router table, positioned in a common 3-hole pattern. Additionally, it includes the RA1161 fixed-base with a system for adjusting bit height from above a router table. The durability of this wood router is enhanced by its aluminum construction, along with wooden handles on the fixed base and a soft grip handle on a plunge base.

The rounded hardwood handles provide maximum user control, and the microfine bit-depth adjustment ensures ease of use. With built-in constant response circuitry, the 1617EVS wood router maintains a constant speed throughout the cut, resulting in cleaner, more accurate results.

This router is equipped with a 12 amp motor and an adjustable speed dial, allowing users to set the optimal speed (8,000-25,000 RPM) for more or less power. The template guide is compatible with the optional RA1129 template guide adapter set for easy change of Bosch quick-release template guides and common threaded template guides. Additionally, it includes the RA1126 template guide adapter and RA1100 interface for threaded template guides.

The kit comes with a fixed base, 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch collet chucks, shaft wrench, collet nut wrench, chip shields, a T-handle hex height adjustment wrench, and a 3-pack of 10-24 screws for table mounting.
